Originally from South Dakota, Samantha Colburn started performing at a very early age in musical theatre. She went on to study acting and music at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and after graduation she spent a year on stage with the renowned Chanhassen Dinner Theatre. Since moving to Los Angeles, Samantha has appeared in a multitude of national commercials and in such films as Cannes Film Festival selection CESSATION with Dennis Haysbert and SXSW favorite OUT OF NOWHERE.

 

Samantha made her television debut as Dr. Marta Torrez opposite Hugh Laurie on HOUSE M.D. and more recently was seen guest starring on CRIMINAL MINDS. She has also appeared with Kristen Bell and Don Cheadle on Showtime’s HOUSE OF LIES, on ABC Family’s JANE BY DESIGN with Andie MacDowell and The CW’s HART OF DIXIE with Rachel Bilson. Currently, Samantha has three feature films in post-production and is a featured sketch performer for the upcoming comedy EVERYBODY’S THE WORST.
