VICTORIA CHARTERS - "Constance"
Victoria's first love was dance but she took up drama as well, encouraged by an 8th grade English teacher who cast her in the role of HAMLET. She explored acting and writing while a student at University of Melbourne where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in English and Film. After graduation, she moved between Melbourne and Sydney, working extensively in theater including St. Martins Youth Arts Centre and La Mama, and performing weekly with her Improv team in Theatresports. Television roles included parts on NEIGHBOURS and BOYS FROM THE BUSH.
After moving to Los Angeles, film highlights include ANGELS DIE SLOWLY and DEATH OF A SALESWOMAN. She delved into writing and directing with the short film I HEARD THE MERMAIDS SINGING, which she also stars in. The script was based on a play of the same title written by Michael Shurtleff.
