Kari Alison Hodge is an LA native who took a break from acting to get a PhD in physics from Caltech. Her field of expertise was gravitational wave astronomy, specifically looking for coalescing black hole binaries (check out the paper announcing the first direct detection of gravitational waves from LIGO in 2016).

She can currently be found on the big screen as the lead in the lesbian love triangle film GOOD KISSER and on the small screen in the webseries BINARIES. She also stars in a horror film, CUT AND CHOP, which will be released soon.

Hodge recently wrote and produced her first short, DINNER FOR 4, directed by Crazy Bitches director Jane Clark! It is a quirky comedy that touches on themes of queerness and polyamory. That film launches on the festival circuit in Summer 2019.
