GUINEVERE TURNER - "Rhea"

As a writer, director and actress, Guinevere has left her thumbprint all over the world of filmed entertainment - from feature films, to shorts, web-series and television. The unintentional filmmaker and Sarah Lawrence graduate emerged on the scene and cemented her place in LGBTQ cinema history with the ground-breaking lesbian film GO FISH, which she co-wrote, co-produced and starred in. That film landed at Sundance and launched Guinevere into a prolific career as writer, actress and influencer.

Guinevere earned iconic status in the horror community for co-writing the script to Bret Easton Ellis' AMERICAN PSYCHO. She was Kevin Smith's inspiration for his film CHASING AMY, worked as writer, story editor and recurring actress for the first two seasons of THE L WORD, has directed several Sundance shorts and has been an early adopter of web-series. Last summer, she added virtual reality to a long and varied career.

Her latest writing effort, the screenplay for CHARLIE SAYS, directed by Mary Harron, premiered at the venerable Venice Film Festival and was released in May 2019.
